Day made(PART I): Strictly Pancakes

In the midst of figuring out what I'm doing for the term break, I'd say..... HANGING OUT WITH FRIENDS cause that's just the best. I met up with Natalyn and Jon to go for this cafe at Clarke Quay. When i got there, I must say I was a little bit disappointed because it is a really small place. Personally I feel its more of just a small rest stop for tired travellers(and by travellers I meant shoppers HAHA).

It was lunch time and I haven't eaten anything yet since the time i woke up in the morning so... yeah was in a little bit of a grumpy mood. Nat and Jon actually ate before they met up with me so its just me left not eaten lunch. We decided to go to Strictly Pancakes because I was craving pancakes.

The place was pretty packed when we got there so in the end we had to take the sofa seats with the super low coffee table. *complaints from Nat and Jon non-stop*

Here are some snippets and selfies we took while we waited for my pancakes to arrive...

The Amanda impression
Jon totally looks like an uncle here, hehe
Me goofin' around, as always HAHA
Medium stack pancakes + maple syrup with salted butter and scrambled eggs
Typically I would have ordered something really sweet to go with my pancakes but I was craving for something salty that day so my go to is always scrambled eggs.

The last time I came here, I ordered the pancakes with banana and strawberry(I think, blame it on my bad memory lulz). The pancakes then were really good but the pancakes I had this time was a little dry so I was that little bit disappointed.
After I finished we had some time as we were waiting for Amanda and this girl starts drawing #designerproblems

I like how the interior of the place gives off the really comfy and homely vibe.
I mentioned that it was packed but its really empty in this picture, that's because Strictly Pancakes closes from 4-6pm so if you guys want to head over, you know what time they will be opened!

Amanda came and she was really hungry but we have all eaten(I swear this is a vicious cycle of looking at each other eat at different timings LOL). We headed down to this chicken rice place near PoMo and we watched Amanda eat her dinner, hehe.

It was the last night for the Singapore Night Festival and Amanda, being part of the Band of Doodlers, was going to be there selling hand drawn laptop stickers.
OMG how cool is this?? If you want some you can check it out on her instagram, maybe send her a direct message for more information!!

trying to disturb Amanda over here HAHA

So I shall conclude the part I of the adventures on 30th Aug. Stayed tuned for Part II where I will talk about my experience at the Singapore Night Festival!!

Until next time,
xoxo
